I have wanted a vegetable garden for a long time now. Every year there was no time, but this year, after Bryson was born we decided to start one. David spent quite a few weekends constructing a raised bed which is going to last a long time. It is very solidly built.


I had success with the corn, beans, and cucumber from seeds. Last weekend I bought two varieties of tomato plants and today I went to the nursery and bought different types of herbs. Here is what is planted in the garden so far: corn, beans, cucumber, Early Girl tomato, Cherry tomato, basil, cilantro, parsley, oregano, thyme.

David brought the camera to China, otherwise I would include a picture of the garden. Instead, here is a picture of the three whom this blog is named after.
